Make 2 different styles of willow bird feeders and learn basic basketry techniques – have a go at both styles and develop your own design.

Macrame – Make a Wall Hanging
Complete beginners will use macrame to make a beautiful wall hanging.
These are suspended from a foot (ish) long piece of wood. I will have dowel but if you have a nice branch or piece of drift wood, please bring that along.

Family Willow Workshop – Fishes and Stars
Come to our family willow workshop and learn the basics of willow weaving with your kids. We will be round the campfire in our willow playground on the community field. We will be making a willow fishing game and magic stars and cooking breadsticks on the fire.

Metal Work – Make a Copper Bowl
Using recycled copper you will learn to work with metal using fold forming, sinking and raising to make a small copper bowl.

Willow Domes
Learn how to make a willow dome and go away with willow to build your own in your garden as a den for the kids or a man cave or a summer moonlodge.

Macrame – Make a Cat Hammock
Make a cosy hammock/ nest for your cat using macramé.
Macramé materials, you’ll need to bring a cushion for the base of the bed.

Adult Feltmaking Workshop
Transform raw sheeps wool into a lovely felted bowl. Felt from wool is the oldest known textile and feltmaking is still practised by many nomadic people all over the world
