Volunteer Event: Allotments, Tea and Cake

When: Saturday 6th May 12noon – 3pm

This Saturday we have a special volunteering event at the allotments – join us for all or part of the afternoon ending with a celebration with free tea and cake, to mark the end of the Chyan Forest Garden Project and the newly restored raised beds.

No experience is necessary, all ages welcome, our expert gardeners will offer skills and equipment.  Bring outdoor shoes and a coat.

Where: meet at the fire-pit at Chyan Community Field. Please follow the link for directions and if you haven’t been to the site before, please park in the Community Field car park, walk down hill a little way and follow the path to the right past the willow zoo.

Also, there is a charcoal making and drawing workshop at Chyan from 10am-2pm at the Community Field this Saturday.  So, if you’re more into art than gardening, why not come to the charcoal workshop and stay at the end for the tea and cake?
